One day Seminar title: " Teaching as a Profession " a seminar was held on 7th July 2018 organized by the deputy director of DETRC, Mr. Zulfiqar Behan for the heterogeneous group like fresh graduates, primary& secondary schools, college, public & private university teachers. Duties of stage sectary performed by Afsheen Zahra, the keynote speaker was Dr. Syed Sohail Ahmed who threw light on the challenges of the teaching profession in the 21st century. According to him, teachers need to be more proactive in terms of his/her teaching practices because digital natives are their target. He also shared his researched work on 5 P's and 6 C's and shared the advantages of it to the group and advised to inculcate in their teaching in order to make it effective and according to the needs of today's' learners.
